How to pay

You can pay for your purchases in the following ways:

- El Corte Inglés Card

- El Corte Inglés Gift Card (1)

- Credit or debit card: Visa, MasterCard, 4B, Euro 6000, Spanish Maestro,
American Express, Diners Club and JCB Card.

- PayPal (2)

- Cash on delivery for addresses in mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands for amounts under 1,000 euros (except large domestic appliances, furniture, flowers, gifts, deliveries to addresses other than the home address, or collections at El Corte Inglés/Opencor).

NOTE: Orders to be delivered to the Canary Islands can be paid for with the El Corte Inglés store card or by credit or debit card. Cash payments will not be accepted, except for supermarket deliveries.

The El Corte Inglés Card offers the security of accessing the El Corte Inglés website directl, without any intermediaries. Financiera El Corte Inglés E.F.C., S.A. has all the necessary controls in place to guarantee the security of the transaction and detect any possible fraud.

Personal Payment Plan

Purchase as much as you want, whenever it suits you. In El Corte Inglés -through Financiera El Corte Inglés E.F.C., S.A.- you will find a wide range of articles that can be acquired on a hire purchase basis, provided your order exceeds €90.

1. Pay in 3 months interest free.
If you would like to use this option, when choosing form of payment, select the option to pay in instalments using El Corte Inglés credit card. Once your order has been received, we will send you a contract, which you must sign and mail back. Administration costs will be charged for this contract and financed depending on the amount of the sale: from € 3 to a maximum of € 12:

- Operation for an amount up to €200 - administration costs: €3
- Operation for an amount of €200.01 to €400 - administration costs: €5
- Operation for an amount of €400.01 to €600 - administration costs: €7
- Operation for an amount of €600.01 to €1,000 - administration costs: €9
- Operation for an amount higher than €1,000 - administration costs: €12

Interest is subsidised by El Corte Inglés, S.A. Credit subject to approval by Financiera El Corte Inglés E.F.C., S.A. Minimum payment of €30. Representative example of credit for purchases:
- Amount: €600, in interest-free instalments over 3 months, NIR 0%, AER 7.21%, administration costs: €7, total cost in instalments: €607

2. Up to 36 months to pay.
If you would like to use this option, when choosing the method of payment, select the option to pay in instalments using the El Corte Inglés store card. Once your order has been received, we will send you a contract, which you must sign and mail back. Remember that the minimum amount for monthly payments on credit purchases is €30. The nominal annual interest rate for these types of transaction is 18% (19.56% AER). Credit facilities offered by Financiera El Corte Inglés, E.F.C., S.A. Operation subject to the authorisation of its Credit Committee.

This calculation will be a general one, and will not take into account special rates for merchandise with any financing promotions, and may not be valid for certain types of Card contracts.

Note.- Deferred payment orders are delivered within 10 working days to mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands, starting from the day the contract is received, and within 21 days to the Canary Islands.

Credit and debit Cards:

Visa and Master Card have developed a safe system for making online purchases. The Secure E-Commerce system means the card issuer (bank or savings bank) has to identify the card holder before authorising the online payment.

El Corte Inglés has subscribed to this security protocol. When you select the product you wish to purchase and enter your card number, a window pops up from your card issuer, requesting your identification details and displaying one of the following icons:

This security system protects your card details and password from the moment they are entered.

Once identification is complete, the Issuer informs El Corte Inglés that the purchase is being made by the card holder, meaning the process can be completed. If identification is incorrect, the Issuer informs El Corte Inglés so it can take the appropriate action required.

This window is not controlled by El Corte Inglés, and the issuer bears sole responsibility for any problem that may arise when using it. You must contact your banking institution if any such problems occur.

PayPal (2):

PayPalYou can pay for your internet purchases with PayPal in the following departments: home (except mattresses and furniture made to measure or personalised), domestic appliances (except air conditioners), electronics, computers, video games, toys, books, ebooks, films, music, sport, perfume, fashion and stationery. Orders to be collected in El Corte Inglés not included.

El Corte Inglés Gift Card (1):

You can use the El Corte Inglés Gift Card to pay for your internet purchases in the following departments: home (except mattresses and furniture made to measure or personalised), domestic appliances (except air conditioners), electronics, computers, video games, books, ebooks, films, music, sport, fashion, stationery, toys, perfume and for phone orders (902 22 44 11).

If the amount of your order is more than the total worth of your Gift card, the remaining amount will appear and you will be able to select an additional means of payment: another Gift Card (up to 10 different cards), El Corte Inglés card, a credit or debit card, cash on delivery, etc.

If, between the time when you place your order and when you receive it, you use your gift card, the full amount of the order will be charged to the additional means of payment.

If your order is cancelled for any reason, the unused amount will be restored to the gift card you used for the purchase. This means it is important to keep your gift card at least a month after receiving your order.

Only gift cards with a PIN can be used for shopping. If you have a gift card without a PIN you can ask to change it for one with a PIN at the Customer Care Service of our shops.

There are two types of card:

- This type of personalised gift card without a stated amount, which can be recharged.
These cards have a PIN on the back, hidden under a scratch panel:



- Gift cards with a stated amount, which cannot be recharged.
In these cards the PIN is written under the word REGALO:

Top up your El Corte Inglés Gift Card

This service is only available on the Internet via the following link.

The minimum top up amount is 10 euros. The maximum amount is 1500 euros (including any remaining balance on the card).

You can top up your gift card using a credit or debit card or your El Corte Inglés card (in this case you must have the PIN for the card)

Travel

You can pay for your purchases with the El Corte Inglés Card (except for Train, Ferry, Car Rental and Bus Ticket products) or with your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, 4B, Euro 6000, Spanish Maestro, American Express, Diners Club and JCB).
