The Guarantee Certificate issued by El Corte Inglés, S.A. guarantees the quality of the products it covers, within the terms established by law, and for a period of two years from the date of delivery.
It does not include damage caused by negligence, physical knocks, improper use or manipulation, incorrect electrical current, incorrect installation that is not performed by our authorised technical service, when applicable, or regular wear or tear due to normal use.
In the case of computer items, the guarantee does not cover virus infection elimination, program restoration due to this type of infection, or reinstalling the hard disk due to its having been erased.
In the case of problems that are covered by the guarantee, items will be repaired, replaced, discounted or returned, according to the terms established by law.
The guarantee will no longer be valid if any of the following occur:
- If any information of the guarantee itself or the sales receipt is modified, altered or changed.
- If the item's serial number is tampered with or changed, or if the item is repaired or modified without the knowledge of our technical service.
- If you wish to make use of your product guarantee within the legally set period of two years following product delivery, you must present your purchase receipt. Once this period has elapsed, and should the purchased product have an additional manufacturer's guarantee, the aforementioned guarantee must be presented together with the purchase receipt and the completed guarantee certificate.
To claim the guarantee, you must present the Guarantee Certificate along with the purchase receipt.

Returning a product
The products offered at our shops are guaranteed by major commercial firms. We are committed to offering the highest quality and warranty to our customers. If you are not satisfied with your order, you have seven (7) working days in which to return the items from the date of receipt of your order, without incurring any penalty whatsoever. The buyer is liable for the cost of returning the items.
Returns from the delivery address:
Delivery charges will not be reimbursed in the event of returns of articles delivered or picked up in Opencor. The customer must also pay for any collection charges (equal to the amount of the delivery charge corresponding to the type of product purchased and the delivery destination, with the exception of large domestic appliances, furniture, armchairs and sofas, which have a collection charge of €20). We do not accept returns in Opencor.
Returned products must be sent in perfect condition, in their original packaging and together with their manuals, accessories and any promotional gifts that they may have been included with the product. Once we receive the items at our warehouses, and after we check the items conditions, we will return the amount you paid in the same form of payment you originally used (cash payments will be reimbursed by bank transfer).
In any case, we will accept returns for faulty products and wrong shipments, and El Corte Inglés will pay shipping charges in these cases, as long as the customer reports this situation within seven (7) days from the time they receive their order.

Returns at our shopping centres:
Products purchased over the internet (www.elcorteingles.es) may also be returned to our shopping centres, free of charge. Returns are not accepted at El Corte Inglés Shops, Hipercor, Supercor and Opencor centres.
Returned products must be sent in perfect condition, in their original packaging and together with their manuals, accessories and any promotional gifts that may have been included with the product. After verifying the condition of the merchandise, the purchase price will be reimbursed by the same payment method used initially. To make the return, you must present the sale/return slip that accompanied the order.
Excluded from the refund system in centres are orders paid for via PayPal, large products (weighing more than 20 kg), products sold exclusively via the internet, food products, beverages, cleaning and personal hygiene products, El Corte Inglés Gift Card, flowers, fruit baskets, new baby hampers, personalised products (photo frames, stories, etc.), underwear and Pandora, Tous, Ángel Schlesser, Aristocrazy and Camomilla brand products.
The maximum value of returned merchandise may not exceed €1,500.
Shopping centres do not accept returns on deliveries made outside of Spain, Ceuta or Melilla. Deliveries to the Canary Islands may be returned to centres in the islands.
Delivery charges will be reimbursed in the event of delivery errors or defective products.
El Corte Inglés S.A. carries out the sale and distribution of all products offered through this service. All sales operations will go on record as having taken place at Calle Hermosilla, 112. 28009 Madrid (Spain).
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal:
a) Contracts for the supply of goods whose price is subject to fluctuations in the financial market that are beyond the control of the seller.
b) Contracts for the supply of products produced in accordance with consumer or user specifications, or which are clearly personalised or products which, due to their nature (gift cards, tickets for events, beauty products, toiletries, cosmetics, personal care products, hair accessories, swimming costumes, lingerie / night wear, underwear, stockings and tights, hats, scarves, wind instruments, mattresses, duvets, duvet covers and pillow cases / mattress protectors or pillows. Party wear and accessories and Weapons), can not be returned or might deteriorate or whose best before date might pass quickly (food, flowers, fruit baskets, etc.).
c) Contracts for the supply of audio or video recordings, disks or computer programmes that have been unsealed by the consumer or user, and computer files, supplied electronically, which can be downloaded or played immediately for permanent use.
d) Contracts for the supply of daily newspapers, periodic publications and magazines.
e) Contracts for the provision of services which are in the process of being executed, with the agreement of the consumer or user, within the seven day period.
f) Contracts for betting and lottery services.
Complaint forms are available for customers at our shopping centres and our company head office (Calle Hermosilla, 112, 28009 Madrid).
