• How do I purchase an El Corte Inglés Gift card?

  Physical cards: 

  For a physical buy a physical Gift Card, click here and follow these instructions: 

  • Select the design of the card
  • Indicate the amount you’d like to give (between 10 and 500 euros. You can purchase up to 20 cards per order up to a maximum amount of 1,500 euros)
  • Indicate the number of cards you’d like to purchase
  • Click purchase

  When processing the order, you can write a personal message to the person who is going to receive the Gift Card.  

  Virtual cards: (Service Not Available)

  To buy a virtual Gift Card, click here and follow the instructions:

  • Select the design of the card
  • Indicate the amount, between 10 and 500 euros
  • Fill in the details of the person you want to gift the card
  • Include a message
  • Select the day and time you want them to receive it
  • Click “add to basket”

  The virtual gift card will be sent by email to the address indicated, on the day and at the time selected.

• How much does it cost to deliver to foreign countries?

  Delivery charges to foreign countries may vary depending on the department and number of items purchased. In addition, it is helpful to keep these factors in mind:

  • Some items may not be valid in specific countries due to their characteristics, voltage, network type, etc.
  • When you purchase something from another country you act as an importer of the product. As customs policies vary from country to country, we recommend that you contact the corresponding customs office to inform yourself of the import restrictions that apply to specific products. El Corte Inglés shall not be responsible for returns.
  • Before confirming your purchase, please check that the delivery address is correct as, if it is wrong, you must bear the cost of delivering it to the correct address; the recipient’s telephone number is required.

  Remember that each Custom’s office has a goods collection period; after this period, any goods are considered abandoned and the customer is responsible for any future consequence.

• Which products cannot be returned?

  • Returns and exchanges

  Nearly all products can be returned as long as they have not been used, are in perfect condition, and include all their accessories, documents and original packaging. However, there are some exceptions to the right of withdrawal. Returns are not applicable to:

  • The provision of services once the service has been completed or when it has begun, with the prior express consent of the consumer and user, and with their recognition that they are aware that, once the contract has been entirely fulfilled by the company, they will have lost their right of withdrawal.
  • The supply of goods or provision of services whose price depends on the fluctuations of the financial market, which are beyond the control of the company and which occur during the withdrawal period.
  • The supply of goods produced according to the specifications of the consumer and user, or any product that has been clearly customised (e.g. weapons, furniture, tailored clothing, customised clothing such as sports jersey with a personal name).
  • The supply of goods that can perish or expire quickly (e.g. food, flowers, fruit baskets, etc.).
  • The supply of pre-sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons, which have been opened after their delivery (e.g. earrings, all beauty items, toiletries items, cosmetics, personal hygiene, hair accessories, sanitary masks,undergarments, tights, stockings and any product used on the body).
  • The supply of goods that, after delivery and due to their nature, have become irrecoverably mixed with other goods.
  • The supply of alcoholic drinks whose price was agreed at the time of formalising the sale contract and yet could not be delivered earlier than 30 days later, and whose real value depends on the fluctuations of the financial market, which are beyond the control of the company.
  • Contracts in which the consumer and user specifically requested that the company provide urgent repair or maintenance operations; if, during this visit, the company provides additional services to those specifically requested by the consumer or supplies goods other than the replacement parts needed for the repairs or maintenance, the right of withdrawal shall apply to these additional services or goods.
  • The supply of pre-sealed audio recordings, videos, video games and computer programs in any physical format (CD, Vinyl, DVD, Blue-ray, etc.), which have been opened by the consumer and user after their delivery.
  • The supply of digital content that has no material form.
  • Veterinary medicines may not be returned once dispensed and delivered to the purchaser, except for items that are supplied by mistake, do not match the order, are damaged during transport, carry an alert regarding a defect in their quality or for veterinary pharmacovigilance reasons, or must be withdrawn in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 1246/2008, of 18 July.
  • You will only be liable for the decrease in value of the goods if they have been handled in a manner other than that necessary to ascertain their nature, characteristics and functioning. This also applies to items such as mobile phones, tablets, computers, etc., devices on which you have voluntarily registered or activated security features, geolocation or profiles, since the initialisation of these devices requires the prior and voluntary registration of your personal data, which is stored in the device’s memory.

• What are the terms and conditions of delivery?

  Below are the El Corte Inglés terms and conditions of delivery: Fashion, accessories, watches, books, music, film and video game products can be delivered to any destination, whether in Spain or in the rest of the world, except for Venezuela, Russia, Cuba and Argentina.

  Electronics, home furnishings, computer technology, sport, suitcases, wine and baby products can be delivered to destinations within the European Union (not including large electrical appliances, which can only be sent to delivery areas that appear when you select the item). Before completing the order, bear in mind that some items may not be valid in specific countries due to their characteristics, voltage, network type, etc.

  Gift card orders can only be delivered to addresses in mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands.

  Jewellery orders can only be delivered to addresses in mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands.

  Flower, fruit basket and new-born gift basket orders can only be delivered to addresses in mainland Spain.

  We do not deliver orders to PO Boxes.

  The following information will be of use to you before purchasing certain types of products:

  • FILM AND DVDs: In Spain, the PAL system is used for broadcasting videos, and so all films for sale require DVD/video players that support this system.
  • VIDEO GAMES: Video games for use with non-portable console devices (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, etc.) only work with PAL system televisions and consoles. Video games for use with portable consoles (Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, PS Vita, etc.) only work with PAL system consoles. PlayStation 4 video games work on any the system.
  • Films, CDs, video games or other products that can be immediately copied may only be exchanged for another identical product.
  • WINE: The sale of alcohol to under-18-year-olds is strictly prohibited.
  • PERFUMES: Fragrances containing alcohol cannot be delivered to some destinations (see Delivery and returns on product page).
  • BICYCLES: Bicycles are delivered in their original packaging, and so will need to be adjusted before they are used.
  • WEAPONS: Orders can only be processed following receipt of the required valid documentation (photocopy of National ID Document and Arms Licence of the person registering the weapon). Deliveries are restricted to mainland Spain and payment may not be made in cash.
  • PRE-SALES: Using our online store, you will be able to pre-order a number of products before they are up for sale. In these cases, your order will not be able to be dispatched before the launch date established by the corresponding companies (these dates may be modified by companies without prior notice).
  • CHRISTMAS HAMPERS: Christmas Hampers can only be delivered to addresses in mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands.
  • GIFT CARDS: Due to the characteristics of the Gift Card, joint orders cannot be made with different types of products.

  There are several types of Gift Cards:

  Physical cards: 

     Card with PIN, without a printed amount: The amount on this card is not printed; as such, you can top up the card as much as you like. The PIN is concealed on the back and must be scratched off.

      Card with PIN and a printed amount: Both the amount and PIN are printed on the card and the card can be topped up.

  Virtual cards (Service not available)

  Virtual card with PIN: Includes a numeric code with a QR code received by email and a PIN number sent by SMS to the mobile selected.
