Viajes El Corte Inglés launches a pioneering accessible tourism proposal in collaboration with Tur4all Travel

Innovation and omnichannel Business lines

  • Viajes El Corte Inglés incorporates an innovative accessible tourism proposal into its range of services, signing an agreement with TUR4all Travel.
  • This agreement reinforces Viajes El Corte Inglés' commitment to reducing barriers in tourism, so that travellers with special accessibility needs can travel under the same conditions.

Viajes El Corte Inglés adds an innovative accessible tourism proposal to its service offer, thus advancing in its commitment as a responsible business. The company has signed an agreement with TUR4all Travel, the IMPULSA IGUALDAD group tour operator with more than 20 years’ experience organising inclusive and accessible travel. This agreement reinforces the commitment made by Viajes El Corte Inglés to reducing barriers in tourism so that all travellers, including those with accessibility needs, can travel in the same conditions.

To achieve this objective, Viajes El Corte Inglés has set up a preferential line for customers with disability (91 324 72 52), trained personal travel advisors and selected holiday agencies in over 13 territories to offer this service. A comprehensive, personal approach that ensures a travel experience adapted to the requirements of customers with special needs and is backed by a team of over 100 professionals specialised in accessible tourism.

This collaboration was announced yesterday at the second 'ESG Champion Team’ meeting for Viajes El Corte Inglés staff, which focused on raising awareness on the company’s Sustainability Master Plan. This was highlighted by IMPULSA IGUALDAD CEO Francisco Sardón, which was also accompanied by the Sustainability Directors from Iberia, Ilunion and PortAventura World, the Chairman of the Spanish Federation of Sportspeople with Cerebral Palsy (FEDPO) and the Viajes El Corte Inglés Coordinator for the organisation of sporting events for people with disability.

The commitment complements ongoing projects rolled out by the company at its physical points of sale and on digital platforms with the aim of facilitating access to Viajes El Corte Inglés services for all customers. Furthermore, the company has strengthened its approach to sustainability by implementing promotional gift policies involving people with disability in their drafting process.

Viajes El Corte Inglés thus reinforces its commitment to tourism for all, adopting strategies geared toward providing universal access and enriching the tourism experience for all customers.
