Prices

* For books, shipping will cost €1 and will be FREE over €99

* * For films, music, stationery and licensed products, shipping will cost €2.90 and will be FREE over €99.

*** For beauty products, shipping will be FREE over €39. On orders between €10 and €39, delivery costs will be €5.90.

Categories
Swimming pools, bicycles and fitness products, large domestic appliances, air conditioners, TVs (larger than 48”), musical instruments, sound equipment (>15 kg), mattresses, furniture, baby furniture and prams, pet food (>15 kg).

Prices

Delivery charges for mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands may vary depending on the department, the final price of the order and the delivery or collection method. The minimum order amount is €10.

If paying by cash on delivery (in mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands only), delivery charges will be increased by €1.50. These charges are applied per delivery, regardless of the number of items.

If you place an order with several items to be sent to one address and the items have different delivery charges, the highest delivery charge will apply.

Due to their weight and volume, or the characteristics of the delivery address (ceiling height, lift, stairwell, etc.), some products can only be delivered to street level. If you still want us to deliver these products to your home, please notify us in advance by calling 900 373 111; we will send you a quote for the delivery charges and, if you accept, we will complete the necessary formalities to deliver as soon as possible. Please note that if, for example, a crane is necessary, special permits are needed that require certain formalities that may extend the delivery time.

Not applicable on orders with items from other websites: Supermarket, Primeriti, etc. and purchases of Market Place items.

Special conditions for Ceuta and Melilla

Delivery charges include transport costs, insurance and customs charges at origin. Customs taxes and other taxes (import taxes) are not included; the recipient must pay these fees in cash to be able to receive the merchandise, whether the merchandise is delivered to him/her or if he/she chooses not to accept it.

When you place an order to be sent to Ceuta or Melilla, you must fill in all the details of the person placing the order and the recipient, particularly the Tax ID number and contact telephone number (if the recipient is not the person placing the order, you must indicate his/her Tax ID number in Comments) so that the Transport Agency has no problems completing the customs formalities, as this would mean your order cannot be delivered or is delayed. In order to pick up the order, the recipient must be registered on the Spanish Tax Agency's census.

El Corte Inglés does not accept any liability for delays due to customs procedures or in the event that the local authorities decide to confiscate any part of the order.

Delivery charges to foreign countries may vary depending on the department and number of items purchased. In addition, it is helpful to keep these factors in mind:

• Some items may not be valid in specific countries due to their characteristics, voltage, network type, etc.
• When you purchase something from another country you act as an importer of the product. As customs policies vary from country to country, we recommend that you contact the corresponding customs office to inform yourself of the import restrictions that apply to specific products. El Corte Inglés shall not be responsible for returns.
• Before confirming your purchase, please check that the delivery address is correct as, if it is wrong, you must bear the cost of delivering it to the correct address; the recipient’s telephone number is required.

Remember that each Custom’s office has a goods collection period; after this period, any goods are considered abandoned and the customer is responsible for any future consequence.

Yes, delivery and return costs are the same when paying with the El Corte Inglés Card, unless there is a special offer for Card holders.

There is free delivery on orders over €100 only in Hipercor Foods and El Corte Inglés Supermarket.

Because they are fresh, perishable or customised products, there are a few special conditions:

Fruit baskets, flowers and plants can only be returned for reasons relating to quality, within 48 hours of their delivery.
Customised products cannot be returned.

A piece of fruit from a fruit basket may be substituted for another of similar characteristics, either for quality control reasons or due to lack of stock when the basket is being prepared.

Modifications may also be made to items in layettes and customised gifts due to lack of stock. If this were to happen the item would be substituted for one with similar characteristics.
