Under the title Valencian Masters of Fine Arts and Literature, the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Carlos and El Corte Inglés’ Ámbito Cultural in Valencia resume their lecture series in October.

The series features contributions from leading specialists selected by the series coordinator, Professor Manuel Muñoz Ibáñez, President of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Carlos in Valencia. All the lectures will be compiled in a book to be published by the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Carlos at the end of the series.

Professor of Art History at the University of Valencia and a full member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Carlos in Valencia.

“Gaspar Gregori: 16th-Century Architect”

We owe the establishment of a fully developed Renaissance architectural style in Valencia to the master architect Gaspar Gregori. His plans and designs, his contributions to carpentry, and his renovation of existing buildings played a crucial role in the acceptance of the classical architectural language.
