STEPHEN QUIRKE

Conservador del Petrie Museum of  Egyptian Archaeology del University College de Londres. Está especializado en manuscritos antiguos egipcios, particularmente del Reino Medio. Entre sus anteriores obras se cuentan: The Administration of Egypt in the Late Middle Kingdom; Who Were the Pharaohs?; Ancient Egyptian Religion; Hieroglyphs and the Afterlife; The Middle Kingdom Stelac in the Hermitage. Además, ha editado los volúmenes Middle Kingdom Studies; The British Museum Book of Ancient Egypt, The Temple in Ancient Egypt y Labun Studies, donde también aparecen artículos suyos.
