It is time to take a look at what Designers have to offer. But not only that, it’s also time to decide which garments we will include in our wardrobe and which trends we will choose throughout this new season. A difficult decision (you’ll want more than one, I’m sure), marked by the multitude of new and appealing silhouettes for this mid-season, when classic coordinated outfits (in beige and brown) come together with lively trends such as silver accessories, check prints, and flip-flops, which will be one of the most popular footwear trends in the coming months. Read on to discover them before anyone else.
01.
Beige and brown: the key to neutral, monochromatic finishes
Total looks are one of the easiest ways to achieve elegant results during the summer season. The key is to reduce layers now that the weather is improving, producing outfits with few elements, each carefully chosen and capable of creating a harmonious effect. To achieve this, nothing works better than neutral tones, particularly beige and brown, as seen in this Jil Sander outfit, where a matching skirt and shirt are the base. The flat ballerinas and the bag, from the same brand and in a more saturated colour, add depth and complete the look. Ideal for everyday wear in the city, from 9 to 9, from home to work and even for an improvised dinner at a trendy restaurant after work.
02.
Dazzling accessories: silver as a finishing touch
Many stylists say their secret lies in elevating outfits with accessories. However, with all the possibilities this new season offers, it can be difficult to choose just one. Among bags with fringes or details in electric blue, another, much more striking finish stands out: silver. It is successfully incorporated into shoes and bags to brighten up skirts and T-shirts, such as these by Rabanne. The first in navy blue with a side knot, and the second, a white strappy design. Two wardrobe items that are elevated by a handbag made with large sequins — finished in silver, of course, and also by Rabanne—and Courrèges kitten heels, comfortable and sophisticated in equal measure. Both are capable of giving a second life to party outfits, and even to guest looks.

The trench coat: a design that will be reinvented in 2026
This camel dress by Petar Petrov exemplifies how the trench coat remains a timeless piece that continues to evolve over the years. It is no longer just the perfect mid-season coat, it is also a unique piece to wear on its own, as this reinterpretation shows. The design, made from the same fabric as the classic trench coat and knotted at the waist, is paired with a JW Anderson bag—created by Dior’s current creative director—and MM6 Maison Margiela ballerinas, which continue the brand’s legacy. Rakhi Me adds jewellery and a disruptive touch, thanks to a bracelet reminiscent of chain mail with a reddish detail that ties all the elements together.
For men, designers are looking back to the 70s and 80s, with blazers featuring wide shoulder pads. This version, reinterpreted by Corneliani in brown, is paired with an ochre polo shirt, white trousers and loafers (the undisputed trend of the moment) in a preppy style. All by the same brand.
04.
Plaid print: the pattern all insiders are looking for
Trend lovers will adore this look which combines several of the key trends for spring-summer 2026. First of all, the star of the show: a pair of checked trousers by Maison Jejia, featuring the most repeated print of the moment and a favourite among fashion editors. Sandals are equally noteworthy, offering a fresh take on the flip-flop and making them suitable for city wear. Dries van Noten achieves this with this orange wedge sandals, bringing back the heel that defined the 90s. The shirt, also by Maison Jejia in soft pink, introduces one of the colours that has dominated the Fashion Weeks, while the Vipera bag adds texture. A lesson in style.

Repetition is possible, as long as it is denim with denim
If anyone was still hesitant about pairing denim with denim, this Valentino men’s look will convince them otherwise. The double denim formula undoubtedly works when complemented by other pieces that integrate both, such as this striped shirt and jumper, which visually separate the jacket and jeans. All you need is to unify the look using the same colour palette —in this case, different shades of blue. Dries Van Noten’s brown trainers add an enriching touch of diversity, making the outfit suitable for those with an active lifestyle.
