Este álbum es una colección de obras inspiradas en algunos de los más importantes textos y palabras de Shakespeare, desde compositores de la época como Robert Johnson y William Byrd, canciones de los siglos XVIII y XIX de Haydn, Arne y Schubert, hasta una representación del siglo XX en un recorrido por Warlock, Poulenc Finzi, Korngold y Stravinsky. Como invitados Ian ha contado con los músicos y amigos Sir Antonio Pappano, el flautista Adam Walke, el violista Lawrence Power y el clarinetista Michael Collins en las tres canciones de Stravinsky y el laudista Elizabeth Kenny.
