El Corte Inglés has completed a 500 million senior bond issuance. The transaction attracted strong demand from both domestic and international institutional investors, resulting in a significant oversubscription of nearly nine times. This reflects the market’s continued confidence in El Corte Inglés.

This transaction marks El Corte Inglés’ second bond issuance as an Investment Grade rated issuer. The new notes, aimed at corporate investors, have an eight-year maturity, due in July 2033, and offer an annual coupon of 3.5%.

The transaction will allow the Company to diversify its funding sources while proceeds will be allocated to general corporate purposes.

El Corte Inglés has been advised by Barclays, BBVA, BofA Securities, CaixaBank, Citi, Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan as active bookrunners, along with Sabadell, BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole, Deutsche Bank, Intesa SanPaolo, Kutxabank, Santander, Société Générale and Unicaja. Linklaters and Allen & Overy Shearman have acted as legal advisors for the transaction.
