El Corte Inglés reaffirms its commitment to an accessible digital experience through the adaptation of its channels, as reflected in this statement, issued on 20 March 2026.
We work so that everyone, regardless of their abilities, environment or devices, can use our corporate website. That is why we are committed to making our website, available at elcorteingles.es/corporate-information/en/, accessible to all our customers, in accordance with the European Accessibility Act, Directive 2019/882/EU in Europe, and Law 11/2023 in Spain.
As a result, the company ILUNION Accessibility has certified our website at the AA level of web accessibility in accordance with the WCAG 2.2 guidelines.
In line with the best practices in the sector and following principles such as universal accessibility, usability and inclusive design, we continuously adapt content, interfaces and functionalities to remove barriers and facilitate navigation for users with diverse needs. This commitment includes the progressive application of internationally recognised standards; the incorporation of tools that enhance interaction, such as text alternatives, clear structures and compatibility with support technologies; and a constant review aimed at ensuring that information is understandable, perceivable and operable for all.
Compliance status
In light of the above, and given that the number of criteria met exceeds those not met at the AA level of the WCAG 2.2 guidelines, we have been awarded the classification of a partially compliant website.
