El Corte Inglés becomes a local sponsor of the MADRING Formula 1 GP

El Corte Inglés signs up as a Local Event Supplier of the Spanish Grand Prix 2026, joining one of the greatest sporting and entertainment events in the country this year.

The incorporation of one of the country’s most iconic companies is the union of two brands closely linked to Madrid. With over eight decades of history, El Corte Inglés is one of the main reference points for retail and services in Spain, a company recognised by millions of people with a consolidated presence that goes beyond our borders.

The partnership includes the development and marketing of official MADRING merchandising, bringing GP products to the national public and international visitors to the city during the event; these products will be available on the website and at a selection of centres.

El Corte Inglés will also be responsible for producing the MADRING team uniform for both volunteers and staff, with garments designed specifically for the event and in line with the visual identity of the project.

Furthermore, Viajes El Corte Inglés will offer fans its expertise in the organisation of travel, accommodation, transport and experiences, consolidating its position as one of the leading options for those who want to experience the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix from anywhere in the world.

The agreement will also extend the event’s presence through the El Corte Inglés retail network, integrating the event into some of its most emblematic spaces in the city and helping to take the Formula 1 atmosphere to different points on its streets.

ABOUT THE FORMULA 1 SPANISH GRAND PRIX

The FORMULA 1 TAG HEUER SPANISH GRAND PRIX 2026 will take place from 11 to 13 September at MADRING, a new 5.4 km hybrid circuit with 22 turns designed to offer a stunning experience. These include La Monumental, destined to become the iconic point on the track: a 550-metre bend with a 24% curve, which will pose a unique challenge for drivers.

It will also be one of the best connected circuits on the calendar. Located within the city and just five minutes from the airport, it has an underground stop at its main entrance, train station and multiple city bus lines. At least 80% of visitors are estimated to travel by public transport, reducing the carbon footprint.
